JOB DESCRIPTION
Stable group practice in prime location in Brooklyn, NY seeking: New York state licensed PMR physician, preferably with interventional pain management fellowship, with minimum 3 years practical experience. Must be able to provide total patient care: performing consults and treating patient; writing prescriptions as necessary, nerve block/joint/epidural injections (within comfort zone). Fluoroscopy on site. Must have knowledge and firm experience in conducting EMG/NCV testing, solo and with technician.
Prefer candidate already on insurance panels, workman’s compensation and aware of compensation rules/guidelines. Candidate can be part time (3 days/week) or full time (5 days/week), but seeking a permanent, long term position. Part time only is available for PMR physicians without interventional fellowship.
An honest, efficient and effective, reliable physician who enjoys medicine and patient care. Must be able to handle a steady volume of patients and committed to helping the practice grow further.
