TRADITIONAL PRACTICE. Office and hospital patients. Female Internal Medicine physician in Ft. Lauderdale is looking to add a physician to her private practice. She has been in the Ft. Lauderdale area for 20 years. She has built her practice up to 5 physicians and downsized all the way down to herself. She is busy enough for two physicians, resulting in her looking for another. Her staff includes 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Medical Assistants, and office manager, and scheduler. She is fully operational. She sees about 25 patients daily in the office, and can easily see 40. She does not want to turn them away, but refer within. Share call with her and other physicians she shares call with. All to be discussed with her. Walking distance to the hospital.

The ideal candidate will be a ‘shaker and mover’. Female preferred. She must want to be busy and be successful. The driven candidate will have the opportunity to take over the practice in about 5 years. This physician is looking to pass the practice to the physician coming in.

This is not an employed position through the hospital system. The physician will employ the incoming physician, offer a 12-18 month salary, productivity incentives. Opportunity Description: Excellent practice opportunity! Physician will fill a vacancy created by a staff physician who has relocated to another facility operated by Ohio Hills Health Services. Community Type and Description: Freeport, Ohio is located in the southwestern corner of rural Harrison County, Ohio. The community is relatively small, but because it is situated among three lakes, the population increases dramatically during the summer months. Residents enjoy a safe, clean community with moderately priced housing, a good elementary school, a variety of church denominations, and excellent recreational opportunities. Leisure activities include golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, etc. Local shops are available for essential items, but various shopping malls are available for more extensive shopping. Ohio University has a branch campus nearby, and Belmont Technical College has a branch campus in the county. The county has its own hospital and country club. Plenty of community activities and events occur throughout the year, such as, the county fair, school events, and craft shows.

Practice Environment: The Freeport Family Health Center is housed in an attractive, recently renovated facility which includes four (4) exam rooms, a laboratory, physician office, medical records, lounge, large reception/waiting area and a newly constructed three (3) operatory dental suite with a separate waiting area. Health Center hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
