The primary care medical group subdivision for our health system is expanding their hospitalist group. Join experienced partners (seven year average), enjoy a collegial atmosphere, electronic medical record and a medical director with 12 years hospitalist experience. The Hospitalist opportunity is an employed position with a salary guarantee of $200,000 and a production and quality based bonus plan in the second year.
This subdivision offers a signing bonus, relocation assistance, malpractice insurance including tail coverage, full paid benefits, $5000 CME allowance and substantial vacation/CME time.
Currently, the physicians work Monday through Friday with 1 in 4 weekend coverage. A block rotation has recently been introduced to the traditional M-F and rotating weekend schedule at one of our facilities. New physicians will facilitate adding block time at another facility. Moonlighting residents and fellows reduce nights and weekends worked.
THE HOSPITALS
This facility is a 508 bed facility, offers a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services. Special services provided include respiratory therapy, rehabilitative services including physical, occupational, speech therapy and cardiac rehabilitation; pulmonary laboratory, ECG and EEG services; radiology services including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT scan, biplane angiography, digital subtraction angiography, both general and cardiac ultrasounds; Nuclear Medicine and radiation therapy; and Oklahoma’s most comprehensive hyperbaric medicine and wound care center.
This facility has grown from a 73-bed community hospital to a comprehensive medical center offering a full range of medical, support and rehabilitation services with 369 beds.
