Due to the demand for Endocrinology care in the community, Highlands Regional would like to increase the provider base by adding an additional Endocrinologist to the area. Currently, there is only one Endocrinologist in the area with a booming practice and new patients are experiencing lengthy wait times. The physician will have the opportunity to join an established practice, be employed by the hospital and/or explore the opportunity as an independent practitioner.

We are the largest hospital within a five-county region. In the last several years, more than $9 million has been invested on major renovations, including an 11,000-square-foot outpatient center, a refurbished operating room and emergency room, and new diagnostic equipment. Also included is the addition of the Women’s and Children’s Center.
Centrally located in Highlands County, Sebring is within two hours, or less, drive to Orlando and its attractions, the Gulf of Mexico, or the Atlantic Ocean. Miami is within two and one half hours, with the Florida Keys just beyond. And although Sebring continues to experience steady growth, careful planning protects the natural beauty and charm of old Florida that has been forever lost in so many other parts of the state.
